Dojo Crest

Shihan Mitsunori Kobayashi is a 8th Dan black belt and one of the senior students of Makoto Gima. He attended Meiji University and graduated with a master's degree from Otani University. Shihan Kobayashi is an Alderman in the Japanese city of Ojiya and is assistant Buddhist priest of Jyosho-Ji. 

Shihan Kobayashi whilst studying for the priesthood in Kyoto studied Goju-ryu and brings an element of this style to the Shoto-ryu of Gima-ha . 

Shihan Kobayashi is responsible for the Koubukai in Nigata district Japan, with his Hombu Dojo located in Katakai he is the International Director of Gima-Ha Shotokan-Ryu Karate Do Association and the link between Japan and the majority of Western Dojo's. His students range from young through old and are renowned for their kumite prowess.
